We are a full-service wood protection and restoration company based in Lander, Wyoming. Our mission is to provide the most natural, easy to maintain finish on exterior wood and logs (we also do interiors) so that the customer has a beautiful home which can be maintained in a cost-beneficial manner. While our "specialty" is restoration of previously finished logs and wood, we also do the initial application on new construction.
By removing the failed finishes, deteriorated wood fibers, and discolorations, we create a good substrate for the application of a new finish coat. On new construction (wood or logs), we also focus on proper preparation of the surfaces, a critical step to achieving easy long-term maintenance.
Wyoming Wood Care Inc. is part of the AWA, the Advanced Wood Care Authority, made up of highly trained, experienced wood specialists, dedicated to quality results and "old-world" craftsmanship.
A lasting beautiful finish is dependent upon proper preparation and application as well as the quality of product used and finally upon the exposure the surface gets.
The key to our success has been quality control over the preparation and application processes combined with using only exceptional specitalty finishes.
Because we regularly deal with failed finishes, we have developed an understanding and appreciation of what is required to easily maintain log and wood structures. Consequently, we believe that we can solve our customers' long term maintenance problems.
